You have already asked this question in another way. �43 is the cheapest ticket from Milton Keynes to Reading (travelling during peak hours, off peak the price drops to �32.80) . Often cheaper tickets can be obtained by buying two singles, but this won't work where the journey includes two relatively short legs (Milton Keynes/Euston and Paddington/Reading). Again, very cheap advance tickets will not be issued for such journeys.
