Who would be the most beneficial target audience for a media campaign on Human Trafficking?
I am working on a project which involves creating a media campaign on a women's issue. I selected the issue of human trafficking of women and children in Vietnam. I selected human trafficking in Vietnam, because trafficked victims in the United States are mostly comprised of Southeast Asians and the Pacific. So, in battling human trafficking in Vietnam, the organization would also simultaneously battling trafficking of victims into the United States. I am working on summarizing my media campaign, but am hesitant on selecting an audience I would like to target. I initially planned to target college students as trafficked victims are typically the same age as this population, which would allow awareness to better instilled and spread amongst students. However, I am also aware that college students may not be beneficial in raising funds as they may not work, may be in debt from loans, and such. Either in addition to or in lieu of college students, what group of people would be the most comprehensively beneficial in creating awareness of, becoming involved in, and creating fund raising efforts or activities for my campaign?
