Did the sect of the Shia originate from bidah [Innovation], politics, desired custom fatwas and folklore?

Shiism is nothing but the result of several political-based events that prospered into the most beguiling cult known to man. Atleast with other deviant cults there is acknowledgment of deviance but the shia continue to ert their misguidance (via taqqiyah) as truth.
