Does anyone have any ideas for random acts of kindness?

Since the holidays are rolling around, I have considered several random acts of kindness. I live in a town with one stoplight, so travel is easy. Among them are dropping off a card or flowers on people's doorsteps that have suffered a loss in the family or are just getting married--the newspapers keep me up to date w/ that stuff. I really need creativity. Suggestions?
